What it is

Botox is a purified neuromodulator that temporarily relaxes the specific muscles responsible for lines formed by repeated expression — frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet.

It does nothing for lines already etched at rest; those are a filler or resurfacing conversation. What it does is stop the muscle pulling hard enough to deepen the crease further, which is why starting earlier means needing less over time.

Sheyda doses for movement. The aim is that you look rested rather than frozen, and that people notice you look well without identifying why.

Good candidate

  • Lines that appear when you move
  • Frown, forehead, or crow’s feet
  • Want softening, not removal
  • Prevention in your late 20s–30s

Not yet / not a fit

  • Deep lines at complete rest
  • Volume loss or sagging
  • Pregnant or nursing
  • Certain neuromuscular conditions

How it works

01

The muscle creates the line

Repeated expression folds the skin over the same muscle thousands of times until a crease sets in.

02

The signal is interrupted

A small dose is placed into that specific muscle, reducing how hard it contracts — without freezing the whole face.

The skin gets to rest

With less pulling, the crease softens over two weeks and stops deepening while the treatment lasts.

Questions

Will I look frozen?

Not if it is dosed properly. Frozen is an over-treatment problem, not a Botox problem. We dose conservatively on a first visit and adjust at your two-week check — it is far easier to add than to wait it out.

How many units will I need?

It depends on muscle strength and the areas treated. Frown lines typically run 20–25 units, forehead 10–15, crow’s feet 18–24. You will get an exact count and total price before anything is injected.

Does it hurt?

Very little. The needle is extremely fine and injections take seconds. Most people describe a quick pinch. No numbing required for the majority of patients.

When will I see results, and how long do they last?

Softening begins around day three and is complete by two weeks. Most people get three to four months, though it varies with metabolism, dose, and how strong the muscle is.

Am I too young — or too late — to start?

Neither, usually. Preventative treatment in your late twenties and thirties keeps lines from etching in. If lines are already visible at rest, Botox still softens them but may work best alongside filler or resurfacing.

Prices start at the listed amount and are subject to change. Consultation may be required. Results are not guaranteed, and multiple treatments may be needed.
