The first hybrid fractional laser — ablative and non-ablative wavelengths in one pass. The biggest single-treatment change we offer.
HALO delivers two laser wavelengths in the same pass. The ablative one removes damaged surface tissue; the non-ablative one heats the deeper dermis to trigger collagen remodelling.
Doing both at once is the point. Ablative alone means serious downtime; non-ablative alone means modest results. HALO sits between them — meaningful change for about a week of looking like you have caught the sun.
It is the treatment we recommend when someone wants one thing that visibly resets sun damage, texture, pore size and fine lines together.
Pigment and texture live in the surface layer; collagen loss sits deeper. Treating one leaves the other.
The ablative beam resurfaces the epidermis while the non-ablative beam heats the dermis underneath.
Damaged tissue sheds over several days and new collagen forms across the following months.
Step 01
Free. We check skin type, sun history and timing, and give you a downtime plan.
Step 02
Topical numbing for around an hour before treatment.
Step 03
The pass itself takes 20–30 minutes. Expect heat and a sunburn sensation afterwards.
Step 04
Days 2–4 are the peak — bronzing and flaking. Most people are presentable by day five to seven.
Day one you look flushed. Days two to four you look bronzed and start flaking — this is the visible part. Most people are wearing makeup comfortably by day five to seven. Do not book it the week of an event.
With an hour of topical numbing it is very manageable — heat and prickling rather than pain. Afterwards it feels like strong sunburn for a few hours.
No. Recent sun exposure significantly raises the risk of pigment problems. We will reschedule you rather than treat tanned skin.
Most people get a substantial result from one. Two spaced a few months apart is common for significant sun damage or acne scarring.
It can be, with adjusted settings and often a pre-treatment protocol. This is assessed individually at consultation — we will not treat if the risk is not worth the result.
One patient at a time, by appointment. No packages, no pressure, and an honest answer even when it isn’t the one that books.
