What it is

Radiesse does two things at once. The gel carrier gives immediate lift, and the calcium microspheres left behind stimulate collagen as that carrier absorbs over the following months.

That makes it useful where you want structure — jawline, chin, temples — and results that keep improving rather than fading from day one.

Hyperdilute Radiesse is a different use of the same product: heavily diluted and spread across a broad area to improve skin quality rather than add volume. It is the version to ask about for crepey neck, chest, or hands.

Good candidate

  • Jawline and chin definition
  • Skin laxity rather than deep folds
  • Crepey neck, chest or hands (hyperdilute)
  • Want lift now and collagen later

Not yet / not a fit

  • Lips — Radiesse is not used there
  • Very superficial placement
  • Pregnant or nursing
  • Wanting something reversible

How it works

Diagram of structural and skin volume loss
01

Structure and skin thin together

Loss of bone support and dermal collagen shows as a softened jaw and crepey texture.

02

Microspheres are placed

The gel lifts immediately while calcium microspheres settle into the dermis as a collagen scaffold.

Collagen replaces the gel

As the carrier absorbs, your own collagen takes over — so the result holds rather than deflating.

Free. We decide between standard and hyperdilute based on whether you need volume or skin quality.

Step 2

Step 02

Numbing

Topical numbing; the product contains lidocaine.

Immediate lift, with collagen developing over about three months.

Questions

How is Radiesse different from hyaluronic acid filler?

It is a different material — calcium-based — and it stimulates collagen. It is firmer, so it suits structural work, but it cannot be dissolved.

What is hyperdilute Radiesse?

The same product diluted heavily and spread thinly across a large area. It does not add volume; it improves skin thickness and texture. Good for neck, chest, and hands.

Can it be dissolved?

No. There is no reversal agent for calcium hydroxylapatite, which is why placement and conservative dosing matter and why we do not use it in lips.

How soon will I see results?

Immediately from the gel, then a second phase of improvement over about three months as collagen builds.

How long does it last?

Twelve to eighteen months typically, and often longer where collagen stimulation has been significant.

Prices start at the listed amount and are subject to change. Consultation may be required. Results are not guaranteed, and multiple treatments may be needed.
