Botox, done quietly: rested, never frozen.

Movement you keep. Tells you lose.

The fear we hear most about Botox is not the needle. It is the mirror three weeks later — the frozen forehead, the surprised brows, the face that no longer moves the way yours does. Here is how we keep that from happening.

Why Botox looks obvious, when it does.

Overdone Botox is almost always a dosing story, not a product story. Too many units, placed to erase every last line, and the muscles that carry your expression go quiet. The result reads as done because your face stops doing the small things faces do.

Our rule: dose for movement, not stillness.

We treat to soften, not to freeze. That means slightly less than the maximum, placed to relax the pull of a line while leaving you the range to raise a brow, crease when you laugh, and look like yourself on a video call.

  • Forehead, softened rather than flattened
  • Frown lines, the elevens, eased so you look less stern
  • Crow’s feet, lightened while your smile still reaches your eyes
You should leave looking like you slept well, not like you had something done.

What the first two weeks actually feel like.

Botox is not instant. It settles over three to fourteen days. We book a complimentary two-week check so we can add a touch where it is needed, because it is far easier to add than to undo.

When we say no.

If you come in asking for a completely motionless forehead, we will talk you out of it, or decline. A frozen upper face ages you in photographs and reads as overdone in person. Saying no is part of the service.

The short version

Botox looks natural when it is dosed for movement, not stillness. We treat conservatively, check you at two weeks, and would rather do a little less than tip you into frozen.

Is Botox right for you?

Botox is both preventative and corrective. It works whether you are softening lines you already have or slowing the ones just forming. The only way to know your plan is a consultation, where we watch how your face moves before we decide anything.

Booking your consultation.

Every injectable visit starts with a conversation, not a needle. Bring your goals and your skepticism. We will map what movement to keep and what to soften, and you will leave knowing exactly what we would and would not do.
